Newswise — CHICAGO: Advance press registration to cover the 2013 Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) closes on Friday, September 6 at 1 p.m. (CT).
The Clinical Congress takes place October 6-10, at Washington, DC’s Walter E. Washington Convention Center and is one of the largest international meetings of surgeons in the world. While onsite press registration is available at the Convention Center, ACS recommends that members of the media register in advance to avoid standing in long lines in the Press Room.

We encourage you to apply now for press credentials to cover the 2013 ACS Clinical Congress if you are interested in covering important surgical research developments. This meeting will provide many expert practitioners and researchers in one place that can help provide you with input on recent developments in the field of surgery. In fact, this conference provides a prime opportunity for you to cover local, national, and international leaders, experts, and researchers who will be participating in a variety of timely presentations in a national spotlight.
This year’s meeting also concludes the ACS year-long Centennial celebration as our organization now begins to look to the future of surgery.
