Newswise — Denver, Colorado -- The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Foundation (ACVIMF), announced today a new call for proposals for two seed grants at up to $10,000 each, which will help advance veterinary specialty medicine in the areas of feline chronic renal disease and feline cardiac disease.
The ACVIM Foundation provides funds to support investigations that have direct application to improving the diagnosis, treatment, understanding, or prevention of disease in animals. The ACVIM Foundation Seed Grants are intended to fund smaller research projects and/or allow for the generation of preliminary data needed for larger scale studies. These studies are to be completed within one year of initiation.
