Newswise — Babson College is hosting “From Day One”, an active marketplace of social innovation designed to connect students to the many ways they can make a difference in the world from the moment they first step foot on campus.

During the day-long experience on August 28th, the day students return to campus, students are asked to think about how they will make social innovation an important part of their educational experience at Babson and beyond. “From Day One” offers students the opportunity to discover their own definition of social innovation and asks them to consider how they will make a difference while making a living. Add your definition at http://definesocial.babson.edu/

Cheryl Kiser, Executive Director of Babson’s Lewis Institute for Social Innovation, the organization staging the celebration, says “From Day One” shows students how to become change makers. “Understanding how to simultaneously create social and economic value is serious business at Babson, and we introduce that intention From Day One.”
