Newswise — Nearly 100 entrepreneurs from the Boston area will introduce their ventures to a crowd of 500 fellow entrepreneurs, investors, partners, and members of the community at Babson’s signature Rocket Pitch event on Thursday, November 6th.

Participants have just three minutes and three PowerPoint slides to make their case, without interruptions or questions from the audience. Pitches happen immediately, one after another, with networking and deal-making at the end of the day.

Eligible businesses include those run by current Babson College, Wellesley College, and Olin College of Engineering students, as well as Babson alumni.

Several successful businesses have come through Babson Rocket Pitch throughout its 15 year history. Boston-based IdeaPaint, Big Belly Solar, and Gemvara are all Rocket Pitch veterans. This year’s participating businesses span a wide range of industries, including technology, food, nonprofits, consumer products, and energy.

Babson Rocket pitch is free to attend. Advance registration is recommended. For info and registration, visit http://bit.ly/1x0mmnp
