Newswise — Grant M. Gosselin, Babson College’s Dean of Undergraduate Admission, has been promoted to the newly created position of Vice President of Enrollment.

In this new role, Gosselin will oversee both undergraduate and graduate enrollment strategies and will be responsible for creating and leading a comprehensive and coordinated strategy that purposefully accompanies students from recruitment to graduation.

Gosselin will work closely with the Deans of the Graduate agnd Undergraduate Schools, as well as the Directors of Admission for the Undergraduate School and the Graduate School, both of whom will report to him.

Gosselin has served in the Admission Office at Babson for six years where he has established a successful track record. During his time as Dean of Undergraduate Admission:

• Babson’s undergraduate admission applications have grown by 60%

• undergraduate enrollment has grown by over 20%

• the average SAT of enrolled students has increased by more than 50 points

In the process, the campus has become one of the most richly diverse colleges in the nation. At Babson:

• 27% of undergraduates are international

• 27% are domestic minorities

• two thirds come from outside New England

• more than 45% are women.
