Newswise — Holmdel, NJ – September 16, 2014 – The 6th Annual Wine & Spirits Tasting, an event benefitting Bayshore Community Hospital hosted at Addison Park, raised more than $59,000 and attracted a crowd of more than 215 attendees. This tasteful event has become a yearly tradition at which community leaders support the continued growth of Bayshore’s cardiovascular program.

The success of the 6th Annual Wine & Spirits Tasting underscores the community’s immense confidence in Bayshore as it continues to expand and enhance its services. Later this year, as part of the Meridian Cardiovascular Network, Bayshore will unveil two new state-of-the-art heart and vascular labs funded in part through the Annual Wine Tastings and as well as through a generous donation from Mrs. Janice Mitchell Vassar

This year, a very special auction featured a table for four at the world famous restaurant Rao’s, widely known as America's toughest reservation. Guests of the Sixth Annual Wine Tasting bid on this once in a lifetime experience which ultimately sold for $6,000.

"It’s moving to see such dedicated support for Bayshore,” says Serena DiMaso, chair of Bayshore Communtiy Hospital Foundation. “This community recognizes the exceptional care their hospital provides and will continue to support Bayshore as it grows.”
