Newswise — The University Hospitals Neurological Institute and the Case Brain Health Collaborative are holding a brain conference on Oct. 25 and 26 in Cleveland. The conference is titled “From Neurodegeneration to Brain Health: An Integrated Approach.” The speakers are a group of distinguished brain scientists who will explore the current biological, psychosocial and ecological aspects of memory loss disorders.
Keynote speakers are Stanley B. Prusiner, MD, from the University of California, San Francisco, who won the 1997 Nobel Prize for discovering prions, and Karen Duff, PhD, from Columbia University who received the 2006 Potamkin Prize for work in Alzheimer's disease.
