Tom Brenna, Cornell University professor of nutritional sciences and chemistry, is an expert on performance enhancing drugs in sports and has worked with Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the U.S. Olympic Committee and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency to develop and implement cutting-edge methods to detect PED use. He was also the key witness for USADA in its case against cyclist Floyd Landis.

Brenna is available for a limited number of interviews and can comment about scientific and chemical aspects of performance enhancing drugs and their detection, but is independent of the current MLB Biogenesis case.
