Creighton University is a Jesuit, Catholic university in Omaha, Nebraska.

As the order of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) gather in Rome to elect a new Superior General to head the order, Creighton theologians and Jesuits are watching to see who the new leader will be.

Eileen Burke-Sullivan, STD, is an associate professor of theology and vice provost for mission and ministry at Creighton. She is the co-author of The Ignatian Tradition and many articles and essays on Ignatian spirituality and the Roman Catholic Church.

Andy Alexander, SJ, director of the Collaborative Ministry Office at Creighton, entered the Jesuits in 1966 and was ordained in 1979. He assists people with the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius and is a frequent commentator on Jesuit life and work.
