American Academy of Dermatology offers volunteer activity as part of its Leadership Forum
Who: Dermatologists from cities across the country who are attending the American Academy of Dermatology’s (Academy) Leadership Forum.
What: Academy member dermatologists are giving back to the Phoenix community by volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul. Volunteers will be participating in the organization’s Fresh Perspectives Program, completing mini home makeovers for two families in the community. Activities will include cleaning, organizing, painting, some light repairs, and yard work. Through the dermatologist’s assistance, the families will be afforded a fresh start.
The efforts are part of the Academy’s Leadership Forum, a meeting designed to advance young dermatologists’ leadership and communication skills while networking with colleagues and Academy leaders. This activity allows young dermatologists to be role models and demonstrate an important leadership trait.
When: Saturday, April 14, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
