Newswise — Red Bank, NJ – November 4, 2014 – Riverview Medical Center is pleased to welcome endocrinologist Alan Martinez, M.D. to the medical staff. Specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Martinez received fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Prior to fellowship training, Dr. Martinez completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey and his medical degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California in Los Angeles.

During his residency and fellowship, Dr. Martinez presented at several Grand Rounds on topics ranging from secondary ammenorhea, to assessment of uterine leiomyomas and impact on fertility, the utilization of assisted reproductive technologies, and identification and management of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.

Dr. Martinez is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also the recipient of numerous honors and awards and has conducted research for a number of publications.
