Ken Owen, an expert in cyber security, is available to discuss the declaration of war on the Islamic State by global hacker group Anonymous. The group has pledged to launch a massive cyber attack in the wake of the deadly Paris bombings and mass shootings.

“Anonymous has the potential to disrupt ISIS's recruitment process. They are already adept at interfering with social media and disrupting internet communications,” says Owen

“Anonymous could easily become ants in the ISIS picnic basket. Every time ISIS appears on twitter their account will get disrupted. Their websites will morph into ‘My Little Pony’ fan sites. Will this defeat ISIS? No but it will empower regular people not to be afraid and it will disrupt one of ISIS's recruiting tools.”
