In the wake of last week’s terrorist attacks in Paris, which included an attack on a kosher grocery store, concerns have risen about a heightened atmosphere of anti-Semitism in France. Dr. Shannon Fogg, associate professor of history at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri, is available to discuss the parallels of anti-Semitism in France during World War II and today.

Fogg specializes in the history of modern France and specifically life in France among Jews, Gypsies and other so-called “undesirables” during World War II. She is the author of the book The Politics of Daily Life in Vichy France: Foreigners, Undesirables and Strangers.
