Bibhuti K. Sar, director of the Survivors of Torture Recovery Center (STRC) at the University of Louisville, is available to discuss the experiences suffered by thousands of Iraqi torture victims, among others, as well as the treatment they are receiving in the United States. Interviews with the victims are also possible and can be arranged through Sar.

Interviews can be conducted in person, over the phone or via satellite/fiber optic up-link a one of the several broadcast studios in downtown Louisville.

The STRC is one of the few facilities in the nation that provides medical, mental health treatment and counseling for the thousands of torture victims survivors who have fled to the United States. A recent article of Sar's work with the Iraqi torture victims were featured in the Courier-Journal and USA Today.
