Newswise — Join us to celebrate the recent New Horizons Pluto flyby at Plutopalooza on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place in the Kossiakoff Center at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, Maryland. APL designed, built and operates the spacecraft for NASA.

This special, interactive presentation will give participants a chance to learn about NASA’s New Horizons mission — the first to fly by Pluto and into the Kuiper Belt. Guests will have the opportunity to visit an Exploration Station and catch a Plutopalooza show at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. All ages are welcome.
