Newswise — Dr. Kathleen Weber, a sports medicine expert and team physician for the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls began her tenure as the president for the Major League Baseball Team Physicians Association (MLBTPA). “The selection of Dr. Weber is a perfect choice,” explains former MLBTPA President Dr. Charles Bush-Joseph, a sports medicine specialist and professor of orthopedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center. “Kathy is one of the leading primary care sports medicine physicians in the country with 17 years of experience caring for collegiate and professional athletes.”

Weber's reputation as a leading sports medicine physician is reinforced by her activity in the treatment of high-level professional athletes. She also currently serves as a team physician for the Chicago Force Women’s Football.
