In light of Angelina Jolie’s reported decision to undergo prophylactic oophorectomy as a preventive measure against ovarian cancer, I wanted to let you know that clinical psychologist and behavioral scientist Bonnie McGregor, Ph.D., an associate member of the Public Health Sciences Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, is available to discuss the psychological impact of the procedure.

She has studied women who have undergone the procedure to asses changes in risk perception, anxiety, cancer worry and quality of life, including sexual functioning.

If you would like to arrange an interview, just let me know.
