Dr. Esper is a physician and researcher in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at UH Case Medical Center. He has a special interest in newly discovered and emerging viral respiratory diseases. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, followed by residency at Riley’s Children’s Hospital at Indiana University and a fellowship at Yale University. In 2005, he received the Fellow’s Clinical Research Award from the Society of Pediatric Research. Dr Esper is well established in the field of virology.
