Who:The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health will host a Scientific Symposium in honor of the 10th anniversary of Meatless Monday, a non-profit initiative of The Monday Campaigns founded in 2003 by New York ad man and health advocate Sid Lerner and the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future. Since its inception, the Meatless Monday Campaign has grown into a global movement with the participation of 24 countries, schools, restaurants, companies, hospitals and communities. All join together to cut out meat once a week for their health and the health of the planet.
