John P. Pigott is a board-certified vascular surgeon at Jobst Vascular Institute and ProMedica Toledo Hospital. In addition, Dr. Pigott sees patients in vascular clinics at Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, Ohio, ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital in Defiance, Ohio, ProMedica Herrick Hospital in Tecumseh, Mich., and ProMedica Bixby Hospital in Adrian, Mich. A graduate of the University of Toledo, Dr. Pigott received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. As a faculty member of the ACGME-accredited Jobst Vascular Fellowship Program, Dr. Pigott is a highly respected mentor to JVI fellows during their two-year vascular education. Dr. Pigott was an early proponent of minimally invasive endovascular treatment for abdominal aortic aneurysms and was a principal investigator for national clinical trials studying these techniques. He shares his expertise in minimally invasive techniques by sponsoring seminars for physicians interested in improving their endovascular skills. Dr. Pigott treats patients with a wide variety of vascular conditions, including carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), critical limb ischemia, and chronic venous insufficiency.
