Dr. Miller has vast experience in general surgery and an extensive background in breast surgery. Prior to joining Meridian Cancer Care, Dr. Miller was an Associate Professor at Stanford Medical School and was most recently the medical director of Breast Surgery at St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. At Stanford, Dr. Miller lead the development of sentinel node programs and held leadership positions in institutional multi center trials on sentinel node methodology. Dr. Miller is a frequent presenter at national conferences and regional meetings. She has written numerous publications and abstracts has been recognized for her outstanding work with honors and awards including US News and World Report’s Top 1% Breast Surgery Physician, 2011 and Indianapolis Top Doctor, Breast Surgery, 2011.

Dr. Miller’s education includes a fellowship in surgical oncology from the City of Hope National Medical Center in California, as well as residencies in general surgery from Jewish Hospital of St. Louis and the University of Illinois Affiliated Hospitals in Chicago.
