Newswise — Baltimore, MD − Amy Perry has been named president of Sinai Hospital and executive vice president of LifeBridge Health, Sinai’s parent company.

Perry most recently served as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. In this role, Perry was responsible for all inpatient and outpatient operations, strategic planning, marketing, government affairs, clinical services, facilities, property management, capital deployment, and human resources.

“Amy’s more than 20 years of hospital leadership experience will be invaluable in guiding Sinai as we move into a new era of health care and the challenges that will come with it,” said Neil M. Meltzer, current president and chief operating officer of Sinai Hospital. “We look forward to welcoming her to the LifeBridge Health family.”

Perry received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota and her Master of Science in Health Services Administration at Barry University in Miami, Florida. Prior to her position as senior vice president and chief operating officer at Mount Sinai, Perry served as president and chief executive officer of the Mount Sinai Foundation. She also held several other administrative positions at the medical center. Perry also brings experience as an international marketing consultant, as well as experience in construction and property management, to her new position at Sinai.

Perry will succeed Meltzer, who has been named the new chief executive officer of LifeBridge Health, Sinai’s parent company. Meltzer will succeed Warren A. Green who is retiring after more than 21 years at Sinai and LifeBridge Health. Perry will begin transitioning into her new role in March of this year. Meltzer will assume his new role in July.
