"¢The Mini Medical School Series is a free, community health education event. "¢The Series will take place on four consecutive Tuesdays: May 1, 8, 15, and 22, from 7:00 " 9:00 p.m. Each evening will be devoted to a specific health issue(s):

---May 1 "Your Designer Genes—Three Feet Long and Tailor-Made Just for You."

---May 8: "CSI—North Chicago Myths and Realities of Forensic Pathology," and "The Under-Active Thyroid: Frequently Accused, Occasionally Guilty."

---May 15 "The Most Dangerous Room in Your House: The Nasty Microbes Lurking in Your Kitchen," and "Where's the Bone? New Thoughts and Advances in Osteoporosis."

---May 22 "Diabetes and the Amputation Epidemic: How Common Sense Married with High Technology Can Stem the Tide."

"¢Expert faculty from Rosalind Franklin University will teach classes and answer questions on a variety of timely medical topics chosen by the community.
