Los Angeles Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa will be among the notables speaking at the dedication ceremony of the inaugural Warschaw Law Endowed Chair in Health Care Leadership; Senator Dianne Feinstein to send video message.

What: The inaugural Warschaw Law Endowed Chair in Health Care Leadership, a permanent academic research chair at Cedars-Sinai devoted to furthering leadership, research and education in health care public policy and management, will be awarded to Thomas M. Priselac, president and CEO of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Who: Los Angeles Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa and L.A. County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky are expected to speak at the event, along with Carmen Warschaw, her daughter Hope Warschaw and Hope's husband John C. Law, chairman of the Cedars-Sinai board of directors. The Warschaw and Law families are long-time Cedars-Sinai supporters who together endowed the chair. Senator Dianne Feinstein will be sending a taped message to the event.

Where: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, 8700 Beverly Blvd., Los AngelesDedication ceremony will be held in the Harvey Morse Auditorium, in the south tower of the medical center, on the Plaza Level. News media can also go to the main information desk on the Plaza Level to be directed to the event.

PARKING INFORMATION: A limited amount of validated parking spaces will be available in Visitors Parking Lot #2, an outdoor lot accessed from George Burns Rd., just south of Beverly Blvd. An alternative location for validated parking is Cedars-Sinai Lot #4 near the corner of Third Street and Sherbourne.
