Newswise — The University of Maryland, one of the country's leading climate change research institutions, has launched a new Web site, Research at Maryland " Climate Change (www.newsdesk.umd.edu/micro/index.cfm). The site is a media toolkit that provides a comprehensive collection of climate-related resources found at Maryland and around the world, as well as direct access to our internationally recognized experts. The media toolkit contains:

The media toolkit was developed in response to daily requests for climate change expertise and information on Maryland's broad array of climate change centers and institutes. A variety of resources can be accessed through this single site " making it an easy and efficient place to begin any climate change research.

This Research at Maryland site is the first in a series of similar microsites being developed by Maryland. Additional sites focused on other areas of research expertise will be launched in 2009.
