While our presidential candidates argue over our future in healthcare payments and services, patients and their family need to know that more than ever we can and should ask questions ahead of time about available services, suggested testing and medication recommendations.
Through Cautious Patient Communities (CPC) groups of people can help each other realize that they have a voice and can research their diagnosis and treatment plan. Participating in your own treatment plan, keeping records of symptoms, medical history including surgery, medications and past diagnosis is the best way to getting the quality care patients are entitled to. So, while our political leaders are fighting over our future in healthcare plans, Cautious Patient Communities wants patients to stay even more informed of their own medical care.
Cautious Patient Communities www.cautiouspatientcommunities.org has been developed to help communities support each other when someone is in medical crisis; when a community member feels vulnerable and uninvolved in their care; you can help support them and make a difference.
