The first full-scope midwifery practice in northwest Ohio, Certified Nurse-Midwives of Toledo, provides OB/GYN care not only to women from adolescence through menopause, but also to women who have difficulty accessing care, or whose care has been fragmented.

Today, the practice includes 17 certified nurse-midwives providing outpatient care to women in five off-site locations and attending births at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. They also are involved with resident, medical student, and midwife student education and precepting. Throughout its history, the practice has participated in more than 24,000 births and is delivering third-generation babies. For more information, visit www.promedica.org.
