Sports Medicine Experts Available for Super Bowl Game Commentary

Dr. Daryl Rosenbaum is a sports medicine expert at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He specializes in concussions and other sports injuries, and is the team physician for the Wake Forest University football team. His expertise includes fracture care, overuse injuries, physical fitness and exercise prescription, heat illness, supplements/doping, and sports medicine ethics. He has done leading research into concussions and created a sports concussion program at Wake Forest Baptist with resources specifically designed for the assessment and management of sports-related concussions.

Dr. Allston Stubbs is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and orthopaedic sports medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. His clinical practice and research focuses on both professional and amateur athletes. He specializes in sports hip conditions and treatment including minimally- invasive hip arthroscopy. He attributes an increase in hip problems to arthritis and wear and tear on joints from contact sports like football, soccer, and ice hockey, as well as ballet and horseback riding.
