SU Expert Available to Discuss Sandberg's 'Lean In'
Newswise — Too elitist to offer meaningful advice? Or powerful enough to add a national voice to the feminist movement? Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg may not have been trying to stir a controversy with her new book, Lean In … but many are polarized even before its March 11 release.
Dr. Chrys Egan, associate professor of communication arts at Salisbury University, believes Sandberg is in a unique position to launch the “fourth wave” of feminist history, moving forward from the eras of suffrage, civil rights and 1990s girl power, and taking the revolution online with social networking.
Egan is available to speak with reporters regarding Lean In and the possible future of the feminist movement. To schedule an interview, call 410-543-6030 or e-mail jfrhodes@salisbury.edu.
