Newswise — WASHINGTON (April 2, 2013) –President Obama announced today the start of a new initiative to better understand the human brain. Starting with $100 million in 2014, researchers will focus on recording and mapping brain circuits in action and will perhaps lead to progress in treating diseases like Alzheimer’s, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injury.
