Mijail Serruya, M.D. Ph.D, a leading cognitive neurologist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, is a Medical Co-Director of the new Jefferson Comprehensive Concussion Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Serruya specializes in Cognitive Neurology across a wide age range, from ages 7 to 97. He can discuss patients with sports concussion, traumatic brain injury, attention-deficit disorder and neurodegenerative conditions like Parkinson’s disease.
R. Robert Franks, D.O., is a pioneer in concussion care at the Rothman Institute. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Also a Medical Co-Director of the Jefferson Comprehensive Concussion Center in Philadelphia, he specializes in medical orthopaedics, sports medicine, and concussion management. He was an author on the Team Physician’s Consensus Statement on Concussion.
Julia Haller, MD is Ophthalmologist-in-Chief of the Wills Eye Institute, the number one eye hospital in the Delaware Valley, and professor and chair of the department of ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University. She was educated at Princeton University and Harvard Medical School. She assumed leadership of the Wills Eye Institute in November, 2007.
