Newswise — Chicago (Dec. 11, 2013): The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) will now begin accepting applications for the 2014 Mary Ann Mikulic Scholarship. The Mary Ann Mikulic Scholarship offers one full conference registration for a first-time attendee to the 40th Anniversary ARN Annual Conference, October 29-November 1 in Anaheim, CA.
The Mary Ann Mikulic Scholarship was established in 1987 to honor one of the early leaders of ARN. Since 1987, the scholarship has offered a full tuition to the PRN Online Course. This is the first year that the scholarship will be given for a full conference registration.
To be eligible, applicants must have a current RN license and be actively practicing in rehabilitation nursing. In addition, if awarded this scholarship, the recipient will be attending the ARN Annual Conference for the first time. ARN membership is not required, but may be considered in the selection process. Interested applicants can fill out an application found on the ARN website and submit it to [email protected] by June 1, 2014.
