ARI Innovation Champions were selected for their partnerships with University of Adelaide entities on research and development activities through more effective products, processes, services, policies, technologies or ideas.

Wolters Kluwer Health was selected for its ongoing partnership with the Joanna Briggs Institute to bring their high-quality evidence-based practice resources to healthcare institutions globally. JBI produces databases, books and interactive tools to help physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals use EBP to improve patient care.

ARI announced its inaugural 10 Innovation Champions this year donating AUD$500 to each of the recognized institution’s charity of choice. Wolters Kluwer Health selected the Hospital Research Foundation to receive its charitable award. The Foundation supports vital world-leading medical research in South Australia conducted at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) and the Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research (BHI). Its research programs are designed to improve treatment, prevention and potential cures for heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes, asthma, arthritis and other diseases and illnesses.
