John Spangler, MD, a professor of family medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, is one of the country's leading experts in tobacco epidemiology. He is part of a research team that is studying the use of non-tobacco products such as e-cigarettes among college students and others and they have soon to be published study results.

Spangler and co-researcher Erin Sutfin, PhD, were both quoted in the May issue of Cosmopolitan about e-cigs, which also appears on line.

He has a brief window of time mid day Thursday and Friday for comments.
