Newswise — WASHINGTON (July 24, 2014) — The George Washington University (GW) School of Medicine and Health Sciences Physical Therapy (PT) Program is pleased to host, in conjunction with Woods Duncan Consulting, “Preparing the Next Generation of Physical Therapists for Innovative Practice,” July 25-26.

PT educators across the country, as well as PTs involved in innovative models of health care, and health systems experts are invited to make recommendations and identify resources to narrow the gaps between educational curriculum and new models of health care. The event is a grassroots effort to develop a network of health system leaders and educators to ensure that PT educational and staff development programs are prepared for the next generation of innovative practice.
