Andrea Gielen, ScD, ScM, is the Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Injury Research and Policy, committed to redefining injury as a public health problem and promoting it as a scientific discipline through high-quality research, advocacy, and education.
She is a leading expert in injury prevention and control, health behavior change, intervention research, and health education and promotion. She is also available to discuss Johns Hopkins University’s current Pedestrian Safety Campaign across its East Baltimore campus.
