Newswise — San Francisco, CA, March 16, 2015 — Charles Wilmoth, Senior Vice President-Investments and Senior Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC, has joined the Board of Directors of Glaucoma Research Foundation in San Francisco.
Mr. Wilmoth has an M.B.A.-Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management at UCLA and B.A.-German and Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
In addition to his current board service with the Glaucoma Research Foundation, Mr. Wilmoth previously served as Board President for Enterprise for High School Students, Treasurer and Director for Ring Mountain Day School, and President of the San Francisco Bay Chapter of the UCLA Anderson School of Management Alumni Association. He has served as a basketball coach of CYO girls' and boys' teams and as a Group Leader of the YMCA Adventure Princesses and Guides.

Iwach, MD, Chair of the Glaucoma Research Foundation Board of Directors. “His passion for educating the public about glaucoma and research to find a cure is truly inspiring.”
Mr. Wilmoth and his wife Catherine have three children. They learned that their son Christopher (now age 12) had glaucoma when he was 7 months old. The Wilmoths have been loyal supporters and also hosted educational sessions on glaucoma research and prevention to help spread the word in their northern California community and beyond.
