Newswise — April 2, 2015 – Warrendale, PA (USA) – The Minerals, Metals, & Materials Society (TMS) recognized four young professionals for their poster entries in the 2015 Technical Division Young Professional Poster Contest, held during the TMS 2015 Annual Meeting & Exhibition March 15–19, 2015 in Orlando, Florida.
TMS accepted poster submissions in each of the five TMS technical divisions. Winners in four of the divisions were awarded $500. The 2015 Technical Division Young Professional Poster Contest winners are:

TMS supports young professionals in the early stages of their careers by offering numerous opportunities to network with experienced materials scientists and engineers, and to gain recognition for their work and their accomplishments in the larger materials community. The Annual Meeting & Exhibition offers a number of activities and events designed to meet the needs of these young professionals, aged 40 and under, including a speed mentoring event, a special luncheon lecture, and a dedicated networking reception.
