Newswise — Princeton, NJ—October 13, 2015—The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) announced today that its 18th Annual European Congress has registered a record number of delegates for this annual meeting. The Congress will be held 7-11 November 2015 in Milan, Italy.
“This year’s European Congress has surpassed expectations with nearly 4,000 delegates registered to date, “ noted Nancy Berg, chief executive officer and executive director of ISPOR. “We anticipate a substantial increase over last year’s Congress with final registration numbers to exceed 5,000. The ISPOR Annual European Congress is a leading forum for discussion and dissemination of information surrounding the science of health economics and outcomes research. This year’s 18th Annual Congress is focusing on “Impacting Health Decision Making with Outcomes Research: Closing the Gap.” The Congress will be co-chaired by François Meyer, MD, Advisor to the President, International Affairs, French National Authority for Health (HAS), Saint-Denis La Plaine, France and Lorenzo G. Mantovani, DSc, Associate Professor of Public Health, Research Centre on Public Health (CESP), University of Milano-Bicocca, Monza, Italy.
