The best two movies in 2015, according to Day, were “Room” and “Sicario;” “Room” was a best picture Golden Globe nominee, and Brie Larson, the protagonist in “Room,” won the Golden Globe for best performance.

Nolen is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and votes in the SAG Awards, so he has seen almost all of the Oscar-nominated films and actors.
