“Venezuela is facing the perfect storm. The price of oil – its most important source of income – has collapsed, President Maduro faces strong opposition in congress and the macro situation is deteriorating with record inflation and a worthless currency.

“Hopefully the political leaders both in government and opposition will be brave enough to find a way out of this crisis.”
