Robert Coulton Joins AMGA ConsultingCleveland Clinic Leader Brings Decades of Healthcare Experience

Newswise — ALEXANDRIA, VA – AMGA today announced that Robert W. Coulton, Jr. has joined AMGA Consulting as Vice President. The former Cleveland Clinic leader brings decades of experience to assist healthcare organizations navigate the changing industry environment.

Previous to joining AMGA Consulting, Mr. Coulton served as Executive Director of Professional Staff Affairs for the Cleveland Clinic. The Cleveland Clinic is a multispecialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. Mr. Coulton led physician recruitment, credentialing and privileging, compensation and benefits, regulatory compliance for physician matters, leadership development, and other operational areas.

In his over 40 years at the Cleveland Clinic, Mr. Coulton held a number of managerial positions throughout the system. He had the opportunity to establish most of the operating systems that are now in existence at the Cleveland Clinic relating to physician and scientist staff members.

Mr. Coulton completed his undergraduate degree at Rio Grande College and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
