The podcast explores the topic of disparities in clinical trials with a focus on why it is a problem as well as various programs and potential solutions to improve diversity.

Hosted by ASN Executive Vice President, Tod Ibrahim and ASN Past President, Jonathan Himmelfarb, MD, FASN, the podcast is entitled “ASN and FDA: Recognizing Ways to Increase Diversity in Clinical Trials.” Special guests from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are Jonca Bull, MD, who is the Assistant Commissioner for Minority Health in the Office of Minority Health, and Patrick Archdeacon, MD, a Medical Officer in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research as well as the Co-Chair for the Kidney Health Initiative.
