Betsy Todd, MPH, RN, CIC, is the clinical editor for the American Journal of Nursing (AJN). A registered nurse for more than 40 years, she is a nurse epidemiologist, certified in infection prevention and control, and continues to practice in the area of infection prevention.

With the emerging spread of the Zika virus in various parts of the world and the launch of the Wolters Kluwer Zika Resources Portal, Betsy Todd is using her knowledge to provide insight to what happens with an emerging infection. Todd is available to comment on the nursing perspective of tackling Zika, including for maternity and pediatric nurses.
