Newswise — CHICAGO (October 13, 2016): The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) membership elected Stephanie Vaughn, PhD RN CRRN FAHA, to serve as president of the association for the 2016-17 year. Stephanie took office at ARN’s recent REACH 2016 Educational Conference and Expo, held September 28 – October 1, in Philadelphia. She has been an active member of ARN for 27+ years, having served on the Board of Directors and several committees.

Stephanie currently is Professor/Director of the School of Nursing at California State University, Fullerton. In addition, Stephanie facilitates a monthly community stroke support group and spends time researching stroke prevention behaviors in the Latino population, management of stroke sequelae, such as post-stroke incontinence and dysphagia, and Latino caregiver needs.
