Now that the presidential election is over in the United States, and online sales have disrupted the retail industry, how is the 2016 holiday shopping season shaping up for Black Friday, Cyber Monday and beyond?

A long-time sales expert with business experience, Christopher Lemley of Georgia State University, is available to break it down.

His email address is [email protected], and is available during the Thanksgiving holiday week (Nov. 21-25) as well as during the non-holiday period. His direct cell phone contact is available in the contact box on this page, visible to logged-in registrants of the Newswise system.

Lemley is the director of the Professional Selling and Sales Leadership Program in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State.

His academic, research and teaching specializations include marketing communications and advertising, professional selling, sales management and sales strategy.

Prior to his 1997 arrival at Georgia State as a full-time marketing instructor, Lemley was in senior-level management of client service to two of the largest multinational advertising firms, working his way from copywriting to strategy and management.
