Newswise — New England Patriots Rob Gronkowski recently announced that he will be undergoing back surgery on Friday after a tackle at last Sunday's game against the New York Jets. After further assessment by physicians, Gronkowski was diagnosed with a herniated disk. While reports are saying the injury is not serious, this will be Gronkowski's third back surgery since 2009.
