Mount Sinai and CityMD Announce New Partnership
Innovative collaboration will enhance quality and access to urgent care services and specialty care
Newswise — (New York, NY December 6, 2016) -- Mount Sinai Health System and CityMD today announced a joint collaboration that will focus on enhancing and expanding urgent care services throughout New York. Dedicated to providing high-quality and efficient urgent care services and population health, the partnership will combine Mount Sinai’s network of providers with CityMD’s urgent and clinical care management expertise to develop a unique model that ensures patients have timely access to healthcare.
A hallmark of the program will be Mount Sinai’s ability to provide follow-up care by a specialist. Both entities will work closely together to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and promote value-based care aimed at improving the health of the community.

Under the collaboration:• Both parties will establish quality metrics for a shared preferred provider network to ensure patients receive high-quality care and immediate access to specialty care when needed. • CityMD and Mount Sinai will share electronic medical records, which will allow faster access to patient data and improved outcomes.
