Newswise — SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (Oct. 16, 2017) — The American Academy of Dermatology has sold its 44,000-square-foot headquarters facility at 930 E. Woodfield Road in Schaumburg, Ill., to the Emergency Nurses Association and will be moving in spring 2018 to a 41,459-rentable-square-foot office lease at O’Hare Gateway Office Center, 9500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Rosemont, Ill.

“We are excited to move our world headquarters to be closer to O’Hare International Airport so that our members and staff benefit from greater access to updated meeting and working space,” said board-certified dermatologist Henry W. Lim, MD, FAAD, president of the AAD.  “The Rosemont area has greater mass transit options, and the O’Hare Gateway Office Center has amenities that will make a more comfortable working environment for staff and better meeting space for members.”

Peggy McTigue and Dan Bessey of CBRE represented AAD in its real estate negotiations, and Dan Svachula of Cushman & Wakefield represented owners of Gateway. The ENA, which will relocate from an office building at 915 Lee St. in Des Plaines, Ill., was represented by Terry Mostrom, Jon Azulay and Robert Sevim of Savills Studley.
