SU Professor Available for Analysis of U.S.-Middle East Relations in Wake of Kashoggi

As tensions continue to mount over the death of journalist Jamal Kashoggi at the Saudi Arabian embassy in Turkey, Dr. Emin Lelić, assistant professor of history at Salisbury University (Maryland) is available to provide analysis on U.S.-Middle East relations.

Lelić, whose SU courses include World Civilizations and The Middle East to 1800, recently chaired the symposium “The U.S. and the Middle East: America’s Troubled Moment.” The event brought together experts for a day-long discussion of the socio-political and economic complexities of America’s increasingly active role in that region in the 21st century.
